Graduates work as Child and Youth Workers, Developmental Service Workers, Educational Assistants, Youth Counsellors, and Residential Support Workers across Ontario.
How long is the Child and Youth Care program?
The CYC diploma is approximately 12 months in duration and includes both classroom instruction and practical placement.

Yes. Students complete supervised field placements in real child and youth service environments, which is a key component of the diploma.
