Intramuscular Injection Workshop

Workshop Program

This course is available in a one-day workshop format. Participants will learn the theory behind Intramuscular technique and the step-by-step procedure to administering injections.

• To learn the necessary skills in administering IM injections, using sterile technique and the five rights of medication administration
• Apply knowledge of proper land marking & the medications administered
• To be familiar with the M.A.R.S. (Medication Administration Record) & drug calculations
